Update on December Events.

I realize that it's been FOREVER since I've actually been on my blog and updated anything.... so I'm gonna put down everything i can remember about what happened to me this entire month. Please understand that my memory sucks, so please remember that...

Friday 12
The first thing that i remember that happened to me was that i had a formal 9th grade dance for my school, meaning everyone was dressed up. I was planning on going to it anyway, so no one had to plead and beg me to go. My shirt was all sparkley and completely uncomfortable, but i wore it because it matched my skirt, which was a very very very dark blue, almost black. I even got my hair done at Evan's Beauty Salon, i thank them, they did an awesome job on my hair, make-up, and nails. My hair was in ringlets that were simply adorable, and my nails were blue!! I still have the nail polish on. ^^ I thought i was so cute!!
I was originally planning on going with Bri, but she wanted to go real early so i waited and went with Allison a half hour after the dance started. I had plenty of time to enjoy myself, so i was content. The second i got there i was in a half shocked, half amused state of mind. It was funny seeing all my school friends and not-so-friends wearing skirts with flower designs complete with a simply purple shirts, or wearing a shirt and jeans with a tie. I felt like the only one that had dressed up... then i looked at Natalie and Alex with their complete prom dress-like dresses and felt better.
I felt like I'd only been there for a few minutes when it happened. The upbeat, cheerful song changed to a slow song. Which means dancing with the opposite gender, which completely freaks me out to no end. I usually look down and pretend I'm doing something the entire song. But i just couldn't say no when he asked me to dance. My very first dance and already he had asked me. The only problem with dancing with someone else it that i have this feeling that i should bring up a topic to talk about, but I'm not one for thinking ahead. And where are my eyes supposed to go? I don't want to have to look at him, it completely embarrasses me, so instead i look at the ground or at an invisible speck of dust on the wall. I did talk, but about stupid stuff like his tie and watch complete with military time. I felt like such an idiot. Then when the song ends, i feel even worse when you say thanks and simply walk away. I always feel this need that i shouldn't leave, but at the same time i feel that i should.
After that though i had a great time, even when Natalie (a different one then the one i mentioned before) asked him to dance with me again.. that wasn't as awkward. I had an amazing time at that dance and can't wait for the "End of the Year" dance.

Saturday 13
My ward had a Christmas party that we were going to attend, but didn't go to because my family was having their annual 'Zabriskie Christmas Party'. It wasn't as fun without my cousins, Katie and Cami, there. Everyone was little and so i mostly kept to myself and talked with my close family. After that, my mom and dad decided that since we were already close we should simply go to Temple Square and enjoy the lights. Not only was it snowing but it was freezing butt cold, not a pretty picture. I admit i kind of enjoyed myself, but not that much. The lights were pretty, but it didn't give me that extra Christmas Spirit that i should get when going.
After we were done sight seeing my family visited my cousins family and got some real yummy hot chocolate. Thanks Uncle Gary!! My cousins had also already invited some friends over, so they came over and i ended up watching Lord of the Rings with them... it was fun.

Wednesday 16
Man! Was this a busy day!! I had to go to TWO choir concerts in the same day one right after the other. It was terrible, but worked out I'm glad to say. My first concert was for my school's AWE choir. F.Y.I. AWE stands for Advanced Womans Ensemble. It was really weird and wasn't very good... but i thought it was adorably cute when i got to watch it at school. My second concert was for that other choir i talked about in a different post... the semi-religious one. I had to change in the car from my AWE dress (it's a maroon-ish looking color and goes to my ankles and made of a shiny material) into a simple black skirt and white shirt. I barely made it in time to sing, it was a complete rush. But i had fun all the same.

Thursday 25 - Christmas Day
Christmas Day!! Woo-hoo!! Finally it arrives... i had so much fun. My little brother, Brandon, woke me up at 7:00 in the morning... which is later then normal. My entire family was up real soon after that. Then we opened presents, which i loved completely. I am going to write a list of what i got for convenience.

- and other random items received normally on Christmas Day...

I even got to go over to my friend, Jaycee's house and had breakfast over there. It was yummy and i loved it. They got Wii-Fit and tickets to Wicked. Me is jealous. Anyway... that's all that happened. I had an amazing Christmas.

SHAKE IT!

I had the most interesting thing happen to me today... first you have to know that i go to this choir where we sing semi-religious songs. Yes, i admit, i am part of a choir like that. Anyway... we were singing a song that was really pretty and beautiful, when all of a sudden my friends phone came on over us and started to play the chorus of "Shake It by Metro Station" (song is below). It was hilarious!! Any way, i had to tell those that actually read my blog. It was a really funny experience of my life.

THANKSGIVING!!

Yesterday was the day to give thanks for all that we have and to not think about what we want. It's a really fun day where you're family all meets together in one house and gets to hang out for the day! Isn't that fun... i think it is.

When my family gets together it isn't anything you'd call "normal". My entire family is hilarious (besides me... i just listen in on everything)! I always enjoy having my family come over for the holidays.

Usually for Thanksgiving we all go and see a movie... but this time we didn't. Instead we stayed home and watched SpongeBob The Movie on our television. Which is really funny because we watched it about three years ago as a family. ^^ I loved watching it together.

I can't think of anything else to write so i'm gonna end this post with a goodbye:

GOOD-BYE!!!

Edward and Bella... You Guessed It!

Twilight Pictures, Images and Photos

Wow! OMGoodness (taken from by my friend)!!!!! I JUST SAW THE TWILIGHT MOVIE!! I couldn't believe how good it was. I had no idea that it would be like that, otherwise i would have seen it opening night. *screams* I LUVED IT!!!

Beware... this contains spoilers. Do not read unless you have seen the movie.

There were some things about the movie that i didn't like. Such as when Edward tells Bella "Better hold on tight, Spider-monkey", or something to that line... it was just, so not Edward. Those of you that envision him as this total gentleman that talks as if he's from the 1600's or around there would understand how much i hate that line.

But when you first see the Cullens as they come through the lunchroom door... oh, how dreamy Emmett was when i first saw him. *deep longing sigh* I just love Emmett! He was so gorgeous and perfect!! But the first couple to come out was Rosalie and Emmett, my appologies but Rosalie wasn't as pretty as i envisioned her. That's being really rude, but COME ON. It's Rosalie. Then the next couple to come out was Alice and Jasper. Alice looked so cute, i loved her and wanted to hug her. She was a perfect choice for Alice. Jasper on the other hand, looked a bit creepy. With his eyes wide open like a madman and his hair looked as if it had been infront of a blowdryer it's entire life. I know it's understandable, what with him being around humans and him being new to the Cullens but still... they could have made him look more, i dunno... normal.

And a very important question that has been asked since i found out Twilight was to be a movie.

How in the world can you make someone look as if they are sparkling like a million itty bitty diamonds in the sunlight?

But it turned out rather well. They actually managed to make Edward look someone normal even though his skin looked really wierd. The only thing i didn't like was the stupid sound that came with it, it was like... i can't describe it. You'd have to see the movie for yourself.

The Baseball Scene was the the part of the movie i think. It was so full of energy and the sounds of the bats making contact with the ball and Cullens hitting into Cullens was simply amazing! Rosalie gives a death glare to Bella in it, and it looked really scary. Then later when she's out to bat i freaked out because i thought she was "accidently" going to hit Bella with the bat (since Bella was the emphire). It scared me. Then James and his little cult came and ruined everything!
*huff* it wasn't fair, i actually loved the Baseball Scene, though i completely didn't care during the book. I was on the edge of my seat paying attention to every little detail. Like how Alice pitches. She completely kicks her leg straight out and then throws it, I thought it was funny yet like Alice.

And then the Ballet Studio. It wasn't as action packy as i wanted it. It took until the part where James breaks Bella's leg to have me thinking 'oh, there it is'. They really mellowed Jame's character down. Which reminds me, i think it's totally unfair how Jacob couldn't wear his hair in a ponytail because that was "James' Look". That's just stupid, Jacob had the look first, he should have privileges to wear the ponytail. He would have looked much more gorgeous if he could get that long hair out of his face. And then i remembered he cuts it in the next book (New Moon) and I got all happy!

Bytheway, their may be a second Twilight movie if the first on does really good. So all you that want to see the second movie out in theaters, go see that movie!! They (the people who write the scripts) already have a script made for the second movie and are starting to make the third one. Hopefully it's popular enough.

I'm running out of stuff to say so, i'm gonna end the entry.

Stay tuned for pics picked out by me for your enjoyment...!

I love the way the picture looks. Somewhat oldish but still quite modern.

Carlise and Esme. Everyone in the theater gasped in amazement when Carlise first came through the doors at the hospital.

These casual scenes between Bella and Edward at Forks High School were hilarious.

Welcoming of the Blog

This is the very first blog message board that I have written... I'm going to tell the day that i first started this blog which is the 21 of October 2008. I'm so happy because my birthday is coming up in about three days. YAY!!
I plan of writing a message about that, so read it when I have it on here. I guess i should put who inspired me to start a blog. I would like to call Katie and Cami McKellar up to the stand and thank them for making me get a blog (not literally, I just saw their blogs and decided to go with the flow and get one). Also my sister, Jody, has had a blog for a long time and I thought it looked quite fun to have one but thought it to over-rated to have one... and now i have one!
My mind changes very easily and that's one quality about me that I hate very much. I'm running out of things to say so I'm done writing for now. Ja-ne!!
